A wild and secluded beach, offering absolute tranquility far from the usual tourist trails.
Anse La Blague is a long beach located on the southeast coast of Praslin. Less crowded than its famous neighbors, it offers an authentic and peaceful setting. The waters are shallow and sheltered, though swimming is highly dependent on tides.
South-East Praslin. Accessible via a winding road from Grande Anse or Baie Ste Anne.
Tide-dependent. At low tide, the water recedes quite far. Seagrass may be present depending on the season.
Almost no direct services on the beach. A few guesthouses are located in the immediate vicinity.
Anse La Blague is a great alternative if you are looking to escape the busy tourist sites.
Our tip: It is an excellent starting point for exploring the area by kayak. Always check the tide times before heading out for a swim.
